The Homoeopathic doctors of Goa felt the need for having an association from a very long time. There was no one to represent them and no events like seminars , CMEs for homoeopaths, awareness talks and camps for patients were organized. There was no one to educate the doctors about their rights and highlight their issues.
Some doctors from Goa got together and started HMAI with a small unit in Goa in the year 2005. As the number of BHMS graduates increased, the Goa state branch of HMAI was finally launched in the year 2009.
HMAI Goa state branch was created to organize and unite Homoeopaths all over Goa so that they can collectively contribute to the propagation of Homoeopathy and Homoeopaths and via that, can contribute to the physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of the society we serve.
We have envisioned a future where Homoeopathy becomes one of the first choice treatments for people in Goa. For this, we need to unite so that we can propagate the benefits of Homoeopathy to the masses in a much better way. We are striving towards this goal with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm.
In over a decade of the existence of HMAI Goa branch, we have contributed immensely to the cause of Homoeopathy and Homoeopaths in Goa. Some of those have been captured by us.

The value system that HMAI has nurtured has helped us grow from weakness to strength.
